Mosque named after Sheikh Muhammad Sodik Muhammad Yusuf opened in Tashkent

The mosque near the “Sugalli Ota” memorial complex in the Chilanzar district, the construction of which was begun at the initiative of Sheikh Muhammad Sodik Muhammad Yusuf, has been left unattended for years.

In February last year, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the place and gave instructions to complete the work here and build the mosque spaciously and magnificently.

Today, a huge complex has been built on more than 2 hectares. The terrace place in the previous project was also added to the mosque and it was expanded. The complex also includes conference rooms, study rooms, room for ablution, museums and others. The mausoleum “Sugalli Ota” along the road has been restored. Remnants of the concrete have been removed and the area has been landscaped, the presidential press service said.
